Heart Talk Show India : SILENT ATTACKS- IT’S LIKE A BIG MUTE BUTTON ON WHAT YOU’RE ABLE TO FEEL

Heart disease is an umbrella term which addresses the disorders that affect the structuring & functioning of the heart in some way or the other. One such Heart condition include Silent Heart Attacks.
Silent Attacks are like someone presses a big mute button on what you're able to feel. They are described as "silent" because when they occur, their symptoms lack the intensity of a classic heart attack, such as extreme chest pain, pressure; stabbing pain in the arm, neck, or jaw; sudden shortness of breath; sweating, and dizziness
Most commonly seen in Diabetes & chronic kidney disease
As very well explained by Dr Siddhant Jain in talk show of Heart. India ‘Dil Se Dil Tak Healthy Heart’ that in Diabetes, damage is microvascular & such patients develop neuropathy( Weakness, numbness & pain from nerve damage) due to which perception of pain decreases in them.
Because a Silent heart attack does not produce symptoms that cause the victim to seek medical help, the diagnosis is only made after the fact — after the damage has been done.
